LSE North America 15 May 2015 American Decline

ME Cox, Peter Trubowitz, and I debated fact and fiction on America’s decline in the world at the LSE North America Forum, New York City, Friday 15 May 2015.

Those two are the true experts on International Relations and the US. What I did was ask the economic question: “When the world maximises the well-being of all humanity, recognizing global inter-connectedness, externalities, and the need for global public goods, is ‘America’ the answer?”
