Trump Is Basically A Troll

Donald Trump is basically an internet troll, jumped to real life from the net, and put on the trolls’ biggest stage yet.

  1. He says ridiculous, hateful things that he doesn’t have to stop to think about.
  2. Everything gets worse when he is challenged with actual facts and logic. At best, he doesn’t care.
  3. Gatekeepers, referees, and traditional media have all become irrelevant.

Only thing is, his IP node cannot be shut down.

By forcing plain-spokenness out of public spaces, we have inadvertently allowed high returns to Trumpish demagoguery.
